Entries are now open for the ISAF Sailing World Cup in Melbourne, Australia

Entries for the Sailing World Cup Melbourne are now open marking the first step toward the 2016 ISAF Sailing World Cup final

With a new ISAF Sailing World Cup competition year comes a new venue as the Melbourne edition moves to the famous suburb of St. Kilda in Victoria, Australia on 7-13 December 2015.

Located on a sandy stretch of Port Phillip between Albert Park and Elwood, St Kilda is home to many of Melbourne's famous visitor attractions including Luna Park, Fitzroy Street and Melbourne's most famous beach, St Kilda Beach.

Invitations have been sent out to sailors based on current rankings, but ISAF is opening a small amount of entries to interested sailors to kick off the new World Cup series.

These opening entries offer the chance for sailors to qualify for the Sailing World Cup final as well as adding World Ranking points to their current total with 200 points on offer down under.

Entries are filled on a first come first served basis with a maximum of 40 boats per class, and all interested sailors should complete a helm request for invitation to the ISAF Sailing World Cup which can be found here.
